Volunteer Management Workshops

Volunteer Centre Greenwich offers a comprehensive range of workshops supporting organisations to involve volunteers.  Volunteers bring many benefits to an organisation and best practice management can help your organisation to get the best from volunteering.

The VCG volunteer management best practice workshops provide participants with the tools required to successfully recruit, manage and benefit from the involvement of volunteers.  Each workshop gives participants an understanding of the values around involving volunteers, as well as practical methods of developing your volunteering programme.  Topics are examined from a legal perspective as well as current best practice, keeping in mind the benefits of a positive volunteering experience for both the volunteer and your organisation.

Volunteer Centre Greenwich runs the Core programme plus a number of supplementary workshops every six months.  Costs begin at £35-£45 per workshop, however small organisations should contact the Centre to discuss finance options. There is a reduced price if you book all six core workshops of £180.00.

Do you have a group of managers who would like to attend?  VCG can offer in-house training options.  Please contact us for more information.
