VOLUNTEERS WEEK 2010
Volunteers Week (1-7 June) is the UK's annual celebration of volunteers
It plays a huge part in raising the profile of volunteers across the UK and is a great way to reward and recongnise the valued work that volunteers do. It's also a great time to recruit new volunteers to help your organistion and local community.

Volunteer Managers Forum
Greenwich Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum is a members only Forum which meets quarterly to discuss issues relating to volunteering, provide the opportunity for members to network,gain new ideas and help resolve issues regarding volunteering.

Training workshops
Training workshops are run for people who will be managing volunteers - not for volunteers. Volunteer Centre Greenwich Training workshops are only available to members. The dates for the next
series of workshops are in the process of being arranged and will be updated soon:

If you would like to express an interest in attending any of these courses then please fill in the Provisional
Booking Form. The cost for these courses will be £20 for organisations based within the Greenwich borough, £30 if you are based
outside the Greenwich borough, and £30 for statutory organisations. (If you are an unfunded group or require assistance then please
fill in the Provisional Booking Form anyway, and let the Course Administrator know your situation when
they contact you.)
