VOLUNTEER AT THE MAZDA LONDON TRIATHLON 2008 The world's largest triathlon takes place on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August 2008. Over 10,000 participants including the world's top triathletes, fun runners and celebrities will be taken through their paces in the swim-bike-run event, passing world famous landmarks such as Big Ben, Tower Bridge and The London Eye. The Event is held at the ExCel Exhibition Centre in London, Royal Victoria Dock, E16 1XL. Greenwich Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum Greenwich Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum is a members only Forum which meets quarterly to discuss issues relating to volunteering, Provide the opportunity for members to network,gain new ideas and help resolve issues regarding volunteering. Volunteer Centre Greenwich Training workshops are only available to members. The dates for the next series of workshops are:

Thursday 19th June 2008	10 -12.30pm	Inclusive Volunteering.
Thursday 26th June 2008	10 - 12.30pm	Writing Role Descriptions for Volunteers
Thursday 24th July 2008	10 - 12.30pm	Supervising and Supporting Volunteers
Thursday 21 August 2008	10 - 12.30pm	Volunteers and Whistle Blowing
Thursday 18th September 2008	10 - 12.30pm	How do deal with difficult volunteers and situations

If you would like to express an interest in attending any of these courses then please fill in the Provisional Booking Form. The cost for these courses will be £20 for organisations based within the Greenwich borough, £30 if you are based outside the Greenwich borough, and £30 for statutory organisations. (If you are an unfunded group or require assistance then please fill in the Provisional Booking Form anyway, and let the Course Administrator know your situation when they contact you.)
